 "Freedom Made Visible."

Self taught abstract Artist and Richmond, VA native, Diane Clement is known for her brilliant, heavily textured, and often, over-sized paintings. Diane started her fine art career in 2003. She has participated in over 30 juried art shows and as the featured or solo artist in over 80 gallery shows.

Diane has been published in articles in the Richmond Times Dispatch, North of the James, "Fifty Plus" , Goochland Gazette, RHome Magazine, Style, and images of her art have headed art calendars and articles.

With no formal training, Diane paints using many products & techniques, mixing
assorted paints, water, beer, wine, oils, alcohol, etc. She has painted with her friend Mike Keeling using the exhaust of a Lear jet, and recently, Diane experiments with painting with Fire.

I paint knowing it is important to forward the art by learning through experimentation, constantly pushing the envelope of traditional techniques, all the while keeping in mind that art is collectible and a valuable investment.

" My paintings are in private collections, all around the United States, Mexico, Europe & Asia.
I am  humbled and thankful."

"The Tree" - 8ft .x 8ft. Acrylic/latex on raw canvas. This stunning, oversized raw canvas brings a Peaceful feeling to any living or work space. Painting on raw, un-stretched canvas brings you closer to the process of when the painting was actually being created, in this case, outside, flat on the grass, in the hot summer sun.
